How to start meditation for beginners?
Focus on your breath. Just say “in, out.. in, out” Whenever you feel tense, scared, angry, overwhelmed. Let your breath be the anchor. Simply take 3 deep breaths. Let each breath fill the pit of your stomach and say to yourself while breathing in “I am calm” as you release all tension and worry. And smile. Then practice smiling more. :)
Do you have any advice from one emotional female to another?
You know what you’re doing. You’ve been here before. You’re strong as fuck. Just because you’re emotional and not afraid to express it does not mean you’re “crazy” or “too much” or “dramatic”. It means you’re real with yourself. Your kindness is not your weakness or stupidity. YOU’RE NOT NAIVE. You were built for this. You are stronger and more in tuned than most. Your path is not meant to be easy because you are meant for greatness beyond measures. Rise to the occasion, It is bigger than you.
